Is your house always Instagram-ready?

No, not really!  But I'm always happy to welcome in my friends and family.  It is organised in a way that my whole family can manage.  Yes, some nights I go to bed with out picking up after the kids, and without clearing the kitchen counters and putting on the dishwasher - but fortunately, its never a huge job the next day thanks to my systems I have in place.  I'm not naturally tidy, it took many years to transform my house and my habits to where it is now - my happy place. 

I'm embarrassed about the mess in my home, will you tell anyone?

Absolutely not!  We've all been there, we've all been overwhelmed at times.  I promise not to judge and not to tell my friends or other clients about your home.  I do like to take before and after pictures, but they will only be shared with your written permission.  Any reviews or feedback that you would like to give can be shared anonymously (just like the testimonials on this site)  

What areas to you cover?

I am based in Douglas, but I cover the whole island.  

Do I have to get rid of lots of things?

You will never be pressured into getting rid of anything, but most of us have so many things in our homes that we really don't need anymore.  I will help you to make the right decisions for you so that you end up surrounded by the things you really love and need. 

I love watching home organising bits on Facebook and Instagram, but so much of it seems so unrealistic?

Me too, me too!  I could watch 'The Home Edit' on Insta for hours... but I don't have the time or the energy to maintain most of the systems they put in place. Who has the time to dust a gazillion tiny acrylic boxes? (But, oh, how pretty!)  We aim to find the balance between utility and beauty so that your spaces are functional, easy to use and maintain and a joy to look at. 

Can I buy a gift voucher for a friend?

Absolutely, everyone could use a friend like you!  Just drop me a line or give me a call to arrange. 

I love lots of pictures on my walls and ornaments on my shelves - do I have to go minimalist?

We love to see your individuality shine through in your home.  From minimal neutral chic, busy colourful and quirky to gothic glam - we will organise your home to let your style show at it's very best. 

Should I buy lots of containers before we get started?

Lets sort through what you've got in your space first, declutter and get down to what you actually want to keep in that area.  Then I can help you choose the best containers or storage items.  You may even already have everything you need. 

Can I leave you to it?

Your input is vital in the sorting and decluttering stage.  Once that is done, it is up to you how involved you would like to be in the re-organisation.  We can work together (this also saves some time) or, once I understand your style and requirements, you can get on with other things - or put your feet up and have a cuppa while I get stuck in.  

What if I don't like it?

I always work closely with you to ensure that the most suitable systems are put in place.  I'm happy to revise and rework solutions to make sure that you are happy.  I offer 10% of my total time on a project as a free revision service anything further can be discussed.  

Are you insured?

Yes, I have Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity cover.
